Solid State Radar Pedestal with Doppler Technology

Furuno’s DRS12ANXT Radar Pedestal combines a Solid-State Radar with Pulse Compression, Target Analyzer and Fast Target Tracking utilizing Doppler technology. Included is the 6′ Open Array with a 1.35° Horizontal Beam Width for a very detailed imaging.

Providing exceptional target separation, an innovative built-in Target Analyzer will automatically change the color of targets approaching your boat to show potential hazards. The green echoes show stationary targets or targets moving away from you and your vessel. When a target is red that means it is approaching your vessel. Quickly and easily acquire and track targets in almost every sweep your DRS12A-NXT makes with the incorporated Target Tracking feature. A state of the art ARPA signal processor allows you to view, monitor, and track up to 100 targets simultaneously. If you are going fishing and chasing birds is part of your strategy, the DRS12A-NXT’s dedicated bird mode will automatically adjust echo enhancements to help locate birds allowing you to zero in on fish!

Designed with simplified connection simply connect the radar via ethernet cable to a Furuno TZtouch, TZtouch2 and TZTouch3 MFD. For power the DRS12ANXT uses your boat’s 24VDC power. If your boat has 12v DC, then you will need to add a 12 to 24v converter. This radar unit is perfect for recreational or commercial fishing use, and is the next generation of open array radars perfect for boats of any size.
