Description

The M265LM chirp-ready transducer is a perfect mid to deep depth transducer. The huge bandwidth in this transducer includes many of the most popular frequencies for targeting top gamefish. This 1 kW powerhouse transducer delivers clear target details, bottom discrimination as well as bait and game fish separation at all depths. The low frequency band provides deep water performance down to 3000 ft and is a good choice when scouting an area or fishing in deeper depths. The medium frequency band is excellent for identifying targets suspended close to the bottom, on structure and within the water column. The M265LM includes a plastic housing which is aligned to the centerline and secured inside the hull then filled with non-toxic antifreeze. The transducer is inserted into the housing and adjusted for the proper dead rise offset, insuring the beam is shooting straight down for maximum echo return. The antifreeze provides the best medium to transmit through the fiberglass and into the surrounding water. The major benefit of in-hull transducers is no protruding features on the exterior of the hull, making it the perfect choice for trailered or lifted boats. Designed for boats up to 11 m (36 ft) with solid core, fiberglass hulls.
