    Our History

    Based in central Florida on the beautiful Space Coast, Consolidated Electronic Distributors (CED Marine) opened in 1971 as a retail marine electronics store. We operated as both a retail dealer and a wholesale distributor until 2015 when we ceased the retail operation to focus on wholesale distribution entirely. In 2019 we welcomed a brand new owner to the family, bringing a new energy and focus to our operation and building upon the solid foundation we have so carefully built for the past 50 years.

    Who We Are

    CED Marine has a family-oriented staff that consists of factory trained and certified technicians, business and financial professionals, creative marketing & media specialists as well as seasoned logistics pros. We all have hobbies and interests in boating, fishing, hunting, gardening, sports and just enjoying the great outdoors of our home. We are members of the NMEA and NMMA, and our team participates and/or attends many technical and marine-related conferences and seminars throughout the year.

    We are authorized distributors for all of the major marine electronics manufacturers and carry a large volume of merchandise; in addition, our excellent supplier connections ensure that we can quickly get those hard to find or highly desired products for you when no one else can. We have big distributor volume while offering you the small business, personal relationship that everyone wants and deserves.

    Even though we employ a team of expert tech advisors and seasoned customer service pros, we know that in order educate and advise a customer we must first have the trust and respect of that person as an individual. We think that is earned by genuinely caring about each customer as if they were a personal friend, but also by paying attention to details for each job, from ordering a single component to a complex multiple manufacturer product installation. No order is too small and every person deserves our attention and respect.
